I can talk about Figa endlessly! My first dog, we both took our first steps in dog sports together. She was a companion dog until she was almost 3 years old, now she is my little, private World Champion. For years, we have struggled with problems with concentration, motivation, working with distractions, delayed rewards, play and retrieving. It wasn't easy, but we stubbornly moved forward in small steps, and I think everyone can see the results!
What can I say about her? She's a terribly positive dog! Her life is trouble-free! She walks great on a leash and gets along very well in the city and in new places. Even though she was introduced to a crate quite late, she can rest in it during competitions (or at home if necessary). Although I admit that this is the type of dog that doesn't need to be asked to rest. :)
Anyone who meets her is guaranteed to fall in love with her! She's a huge cuddler, loves giving kisses, lying on laps. She sleeps cuddled up to a person, preferably on one and the same pillow. :) The only drawback - she's a terrible beggar. Figusia is a great companion for travel, long trips and walks. She loves people, dogs are ok, but she usually tries to ignore them and not interact much with them. She's afraid of fireworks and is a terrible panic when it comes to any veterinary procedures. After years of work, I can confidently say that she's a dog that loves working with me. She has great motivation for food, and we also managed to develop her motivation for toys to a very good level. She can even fetch! She's a trick master and likes to learn new things. She disarms all "intelligence" toys faster than my border collies. ;) She's also the best model and loves posing for photos.
She's not very fast in agility, but I enjoy running with her. She forgives all my handling mistakes, turns nicely, is attentive, but not very independent. He's an example that it's not worth giving up, because all hard work will eventually bring results. She has great potential and even though her sports career started quite late, I believe that we will continue to play together on the agility track for as long as it's possible! She's my best companion, my teacher and the dog of my life! She's truly unique, very charming, always happy and simply - "SWEET". And we both love to sleep late. :)
Figusia trains agility and competes in class A1.
